  9.               The Minolta WinLaser 400 will not be properly installed
  10.             with Windows 95 CD-ROM.  The Plug-n-Play setup does not
  11.             handle the WinLaser 400 correctly.  The WINLASER.EXE program
  12.             on diskette 1 updates Plug-n-Play so that it will correctly
  13.             install the Minolta WinLaser 400.  The README.W95 file, also
  14.             on diskette 1, contains information pertaining to the
  15.             WinLaser 400 and Windows 95.

  17.             The following procedure should be followed when connecting a
  18.             Minolta WinLaser 400 to a computer running Windows 95:
  19.  
  20.             1.   Do not start Windows 95 if the Minolta WinLaser 400 is
  21.                  powered on and connected to the computer.
  22.             2.   Turn off the WinLaser 400.
  23.             3.   Start Windows 95.
  24.             4.   Execute WINLASER.EXE from diskette 1.
  25.                  a)   Insert diskette 1 into drive A:
  26.                  b)   Select START or press CTRL-ESC.
  27.                  c)   Select RUN
  28.                  d)   Type A:WINLASER
  29.                  e)   Press ENTER
  30.             5.   Follow the instructions on the screen.
  31.             6.   The system will automatically RESTART WINDOWS when it
  32.                  is complete.
  33.             7.   The normal Plug-n-Play process will now install the
  34.                  WinLaser 400 correctly.

  36.             If you have already attempted to install the Minolta
  37.             WinLaser 400, the WINLASER.EXE program attempts to return
  38.             Windows 95 to the correct state to properly install the
  39.             printer.
